Every morning I drive from St Albans to Welwyn Garden City, and return again in the evening. I have noticed that there usually is something happening along the way, so I thought I would start writing it down. The roads I will mainly cover is A1081, A414, A6129, A1(M) between junction 3 and 4

Welwyn Garden City - Broadwater Road Closed (A1000)
27/04 Morning - Police has closed off the road just at the railroad bridge, do not know for what reason.
Since there has been a fatality on the railroad this morning it would seem likely that the road closure is linked. Jack Fm writes that it has been a week of tragedy on the railway, forth fatality in a week http://goo.gl/CsTfX
