Every morning I drive from St Albans to Welwyn Garden City, and return again in the evening. I have noticed that there usually is something happening along the way, so I thought I would start writing it down. The roads I will mainly cover is A1081, A414, A6129, A1(M) between junction 3 and 4

Heavy traffic A1(M)
3:55 am - Highway Agency is reporting heavy traffic between Junction 1 and 8 northbound on A1(M) with delays of 10 minutes. Normal traffic conditions expected at 4:15 am Link
